ADWDA & Proway Sheep Handling Equipment Field Day

ADWDA and Proway Sheep Handling Equipment hosted a field day on 12th August 2011 at the Rangeland White Dorper Stud in Yawong Springs, via St Arnaud, Victoria.
Up to 300 people attended the day from 10am to 3pm, travelling from SA, NSW and Victoria to see sheep handling equipment from ProWay Livestock Equipment (sponsors of the day) and other equipment manufacturers.

Cancelled: ADWDA Classic Sale 2011

ADWDA advises that the National Sale planned for Wagga in early September has been cancelled. It was considered that entry numbers were not sufficient for a successful sale to be conducted.

The Sale has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 18th September 2012 in Wagga Wagga, NSW. See you there!


ADWDA releases registration / transfer information

ADWDA has now made available its schedule of registration and transfer fees covering both electronic and manual processing of data.

Members will soon have the opportunity to register and transfer animals either via a new electronic web-based pedigree recording system (still under development), or by submitting paper forms to the Secretariat.

I take this opportunity to thank all members and friends who phoned or sent get well cards to me during and after my short stint in hospital for open heart surgery. The surgey was extremely successful so after a short period of taking it easy I will be back into action again. Thanks again to all you who took the time to contact me, it was sincerely appreciated.
